Art Teacher

We are seeking a talented and passionate Art Teacher to join our team and guide students in exploring their creative potential. As an Art Teacher at Forbest Academy, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized, one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in various art forms.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized, one-on-one, or small group instruction in diverse artistic disciplines, including sketching, acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolors, and other art techniques. Develop dynamic and personalized lesson plans that align with the students' unique learning styles, while meeting academic standards. Inspire students to explore and expand their artistic abilities in an environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration. Help students master challenging art techniques and elevate their skills through hands-on guidance and constructive feedback. Prepare students for art exhibitions, portfolio reviews, and artistic milestones. Create an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field, with a solid background in art instruction. Proficiency in various art forms such as drawing, acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolors, and other media. A deep understanding of artistic techniques, principles, and concepts, with a passion for nurturing the creative process in others. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs. Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is highly valued. Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds. Passion for art and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive and creative learning experience. Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis. English proficiency is required; Mandarin proficiency is optional.

. Ideally, 2-3 years of professional teaching experience in the arts. Teaching Certification is a plus, but not mandatory.

Job Details:

Job Type: Part-time Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour.

Schedule

:

Flexible, on-call schedule Monday to Friday, after-school and evening hours Weekend availability Special scheduling during school holidays.
