Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver fun, accessible art lessons that support creative expression and skill development
Teach a variety of art techniques and mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, collage, mixed media)
Support clients with diverse abilities in completing individual and group art projects
Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through the arts
Maintain a safe and inclusive environment
Collaborate with other team members to align art activities with clients' individual goals
Qualifications:
Artistic abilities
are required - experience in drawing, painting, or other visual arts
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset
Patience, creativity, and a person-centered approach to instruction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt lessons and support various learning styles and abilities
