This role is primarily focused on 1:1: email, digital, and social, with extension into traditional channels. This Art Director should have a portfolio that demonstrates lateral creative thinking across multiple channels, with particular emphasis on digital concepts and craft.Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Concept Generation: Work closely with Copywriters to conceptualize and develop ideas for campaigns across various platforms (digital, social, CRM, targeted OOH, etc.). Actively explore and experiment with modern visual tools, including Figman, generative AI (e.g. Midjourney, Google Gemini, Runway, etc.), for preliminary image generation, mood boards, and concept visuals.
• Research: Conduct visual research and gather references to inform creative development for different briefs and channels.
• Design & Layout: Use of Figma (as well as other prgrams & platforms) to design bold layouts bold layouts and moodboards across digital and email channels, that stay on-brand and on-strategy. Tap into creative tools to streamline design processes and amplify creativity.
• Craftsmanship: Craft striking designs with precision in typography, color, and imagery that pop across all media. Know when to refine AI-generated visuals with a vital human touch for flawless channel fit.
• Collaboration: Work closely with junior and senior creatives, contributing ideas and supporting team efforts for integrated campaigns.
• Presentation Support: Craft visual assets that showcase how ideas come to life across the entire media plan--for clients and internal teams alike.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in an advertising agency, internship, or related creative field.
• A portfolio (student and/or professional) demonstrating raw talent, conceptual promise, and a passion for advertising, with an understanding of how ideas can translate across different channels.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
• Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.
• Curiosity about brands, culture, and human behaviour, and how they interact across different media touchpoints.
• Openness to learning and experimenting with modern creative tools, including generative AI's role in multi-channel creative production.
• Willingness to experiment with new creative tools and integrate them into their workflow for multi-channel efficiency.
• Awareness of the importance of human oversight and ethical considerations when using new technologies like generative AI.
