About the opportunity
Dayforce is seeking a new Art Director of Design to join our in-house Creative Studio. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the evolving Dayforce brand through bold design and creative storytelling.
Combining hands-on design expertise with strategic leadership and AI experimentation, you'll collaborate closely with our internal creative and marketing teams, as well as external agency partners, to produce work that reflects our values and elevates our brand. You'll also have the opportunity to explore how AI tools and emerging technologies can elevate design production and creative innovation. We want you to do the work you're meant to do.
What you'll get to do

  • Lead the development and execution of creative concepts across brand campaigns, marketing initiatives, and product communications.
  • Translate strategic objectives into compelling visual narratives and design systems that reinforce and build the Dayforce brand.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and product teams to ensure design excellence across all creative touchpoints.
  • Partner with external agencies and production vendors to deliver best-in-class creative.
  • Champion innovation in design by integrating emerging technologies and AI-driven tools into creative workflows.
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines, visual standards, and accessibility best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Skills and experience we value
  • 8+ years of professional experience in design or creative direction, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand and campaign work.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and inspiring creative teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, typography, composition, and digital design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience experimenting with or implementing AI tools in the creative process is an asset.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with strategic business objectives.
