Job Summary:

The Creative team is looking for an Art Director, Garage who encompasses passion for fashion, beauty, visual storytelling, content creation and culture. This role will work to bring the brand to life visually and editorially, ensure brand relevancy and commercial success- spanning strategy to hands-on execution.

You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick and mortar retailer, to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Brand Marketing on strategic campaign concepts;
• Create concept and develop visuals for multi-platform, multi-channel digital campaigns that meet business objectives and support brand marketing strategy;
• Establish best practices and processes for day-to-day operations of the creative team, partnering with key stakeholders ensuring that creative is meeting strategic goals and executing on timelines;
• Partner with e-commerce and retail/sales teams to develop commercially successful assets and evolve the brand's expression in each of these channels - including continual learning via A/B testing of creative to improve ROI;
• Attend and support photo and video campaign shoots (in office and on location), and ensure successful execution of smaller scale in-house product shoots for brand / social needs;
• Bring in new creative ideas and digital / visual trends;
• Work with all cross-functional teams and outside partners.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of professional experience in a creative environment for beauty or a CPG brand;
• Excellent communication skills, strong process and team leadership skills;
• Experience with relevant tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects;
• Experience concepting and managing photo and video production is preferred;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, under tight deadlines, with strong project and time management skills;
• Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively;
• Passion for beauty, aesthetics and bringing a brand's vision to life;
• Must have a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience;
• Experience in leadership.
