Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Works with the Studio Art Director to drive the artistic vision of game projects.
• Owns projects from concept phase to shipping.
• Presents concepts, ideas and vision of the game to Game Directors and Studio Leadership.
• Owns and partners with production on schedules to ensure deliverables are on time.
• Experience managing and mentoring artists.
• Excellent management, interpersonal skills and enjoys being in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work in the Unreal Engine.
• Able to to contribute to art asset creation.
• Willingness to learn new pipelines.
• Reviews art assets verbally and written to artists internal and external.
• Ability to work on realistic and stylized games.

Job Requirements:

• 6+ years in the AAA games industry with at least 3 years of titled experience as Art Director or Associate Art Director
• Proven leadership capacity as a Lead Artist in Environments, characters and or concept.
• Takes initiative to create visuals and schedules for the projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating Art Direction
• Outsourcing experience
• Understanding of lighting in Unreal.
• Understanding of Marvelous Designer
