We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our educational team. Student Age varies from

Grade 5 - Grade 7, and Grade 8 - Grade 12

. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore their artistic talents and develop their skills in various art forms.

This role involves curriculum developing, teaching students life drawings, paintings, for university portfolio application and art high school application.

creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression among students of all ages.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Encourage students to express their creativity through individual and group projects. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Organize art exhibitions and showcases to display student work and celebrate their achievements. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment with appropriate materials and supplies. Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into the broader curriculum. Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods. Candidates who are professional in both English and Chinese will be a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques and mediums. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Ability to create a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Familiarity with art history and contemporary art practices is a plus. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching art to students of all ages
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week
