Position Summary
To work up to 30 hours with VA photo-based media students to facilitate printing, mounting, framing, and installation of class exhibition at the Fifth Parallel Gallery from November 18 - 20th, with the possibility of extending the work to facilitate the exhibition opening reception on November 27th, final class discussions on Dec. 4th, and oversee exhibition strike for 6 hours on December 4th and 5th. May include final grading.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must possess an MA/MFA or BA/BFA in a related Visual Arts field. University teaching experience is preferred.

Photo-Based Media Fall 2025, formal class meets Thursdays, 2:30-5:15pm
includes ART 323, ART 325, 422, and 426.
- Tuesday Nov. 18: 1-6pm - Coordinating with students and TA to facilitate printing, mounting, and framing of works for exhibition
- Wednesday Nov. 19: 1-6pm -Coordinating with students and TA to facilitate printing, mounting, and framing of works for exhibition
- Thursday Nov. 20: 10am - 6pm or longer - install the exhibition at the Fifth
- The exhibition opens to the public on Friday, November 21st.
- Nov. 27: class at 2:30 in the Fifth preparing for opening reception which runs 4-6:30pm.
- December 4th: final class debrief in the gallery, discuss semester's works, processes, exhibition.
- Dec. 4th eve, then 5th and 6th: exhibition strike. students remove works from walls, return frames to gallery and RC 041, patch holes, spot paint.
