The course focuses on teaching about developing techniques of throwing clay forms on the potter's wheel. It also explore ways the potter's wheel is used in contemporary ceramics practices from functional through sculptural approaches.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must possess an MA/MFA or BA/BFA in Ceramics or closely related visual arts field, evidence of a contemporary Ceramics practice, and an active record of dissemination in Ceramics. University teaching experience is preferred.
