We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Arena Manager. In this role,

you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to achieve our companies and our clients

operational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The Arena Manager is responsible for the overall operation, administration, and maintenance of a

public ice rink in Wadena, Saskatchewan. This pivotal role requires a blend of leadership, technical

expertise, customer service skills, and financial acumen. The manager ensures that the ice arena runs

efficiently, safely, and profitably, serving a diverse clientele--including figure skaters, hockey teams,

recreational skaters, and community groups.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Post-secondary education in recreation management, facility management, or a related field
is preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in facility or recreation management, with at
least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience working in an ice arena in private or public facility is highly desirable. Knowledge of ice maintenance equipment and techniques, including Zamboni operation and
basic refrigeration systems.

Minimum of Arena Operator Level 1 or a Combination of Global Venue Institute Courses.
