Why You?
The Arena Customer Care Representative student will join the Sports & Recreation team within our Operations department in their mission to deliver value to the residents of the Town of Innisfil and assist in providing customer service at our arenas. Your primary responsibility will be interacting directly with the public as the main point of contact, along with the collection of money for drop-in programs, program registration & facility booking payments, and inquiries. As required, you will assist with administrative duties including electronic documentation of paper forms, money collection, facility bookings, and recreational registrations, as well as occasional light cleaning and other duties as assigned.
You have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work a variety of shifts at locations throughout Innisfil (including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays) up to 24 hours per week as scheduled. This position runs from September 2025 until the end of April 2026 (approximately).
Job Requirements
The preferred candidate holds:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working with the public is an asset.
Experience with cash handling.
Experience working in customer service.
Good administration and problem-solving skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and web applications.
Experience in POS systems is an asset.
At least 16 years of age.
Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
Valid First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
Ability to work varied shifts:
+ Including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
+ Monday - Friday Daytime hours are also available.
