The role Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor (Glacier) the Arena Attendant I repairs, maintains and monitors the refrigeration plant, arena, and building systems; performs ice, facility and equipment maintenance; interacts with the public; and serves as the authority in the building on assigned shifts. The ideal candidate Considerable experience in monitoring, maintaining and repairing ice and equipment used within ice arenas or similar environments; supplemented by graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate; or sufficient qualifications as determined by assessment.
