Position Summary



The Area Sales Manager (ASM) plays a crucial role in developing new business relationships and enhancing current partnerships within the assigned sales territory. This position demands a thorough understanding of the sales process, emphasizing lead generation, relationship-building, and earning business. The ASM will utilize strong negotiation skills and effectively present our products to attract new leads and nurture connections. Additionally, this role involves delivering impactful presentations and representing the company at networking events and trade shows, striking a balance between professionalism and approachability. The ASM also leads, trains, and oversees Sales & Merchandising representatives, Distributors and 3rd party sales brokers, ensuring a cohesive and effective team.

Principal Duties



Partner with local distributors and wholesalers to promote and sell our brand portfolio to retailers Join Sales & Merchandising reps on ride-alongs to support selling, merchandising, training, relationship management, and regularly assess their performance Ensure prime in-store merchandising space, complete SKU availability, strategic POS placements, and increased distribution points Maintain all equipment, racks, signage, and POS materials updated, clean, and visually displayed in an appealing manner Build and maintain strong, positive relationship with retail store owners, managers, and their staff Focus on establishing new accounts within your assigned territory, oversee existing accounts, and keep in regular communication with primary contacts Drive sales growth in the territory in line with targets set by the Commercial Director Engage regularly with distribution partners and sales brokers to ensure alignment on KPIs Assist in coordinating sales efforts across different territories and provide support to other sales representatives Participate in evening and weekend promotions and special events as needed Utilize CRM software to track and monitor account activity, optimize routing, follow up, and leverage analytics for informed business decisions and sales strategies Create optimal routing for store visits on a weekly basis, minimizing travel time while maximizing sales reach and efficiency Analyze store visit reports from the CRM to identify areas for improvement and replicate successful efforts and strategies Conduct regular Sales Team calls with your Sales & Merchandising representatives to establish a clear action plan for store visits and merchandising implementation, address out-of-stock issues, confirm inventory plans, provide updates on promotional execution and adjustments, and enhance overall coordination for in-store operations and sales growth Champion the Electrolit brand by embodying the Electrolit K2 mission Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications



Sales experience in the beverage industry, preferably non-alcoholic Direct Selling experience in the beverage industry Supervisor or managerial experience is a plus! High school diploma or CAEC equivalent; bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred Proficient in computer usage, with a working knowledge of MS Office Experience with sales management software and CRM tools Highly motivated and target-driven Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% within the assigned territory

Other Requirements



Travel for customer visits, company events, or long-distance travel within the assigned territory Legally authorized to work in the Canada Reliable transportation Valid driver license and active auto insurance policy

Physical Requirements



Ability to sit for extended period of times while driving to locations Ability to stand, walk, occasionally lift, and carry objects (up to 40 ponds)

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
