Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to join our team in Manitoba. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations across the province. Your role will involve managing operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in project management and sales.

Responsibilities:

Organize and direct operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability across all assigned accounts. Review, monitor, and control personnel and supply costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and sound operating practices. Conduct regular inspections of assigned accounts to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations for account retention. . Maintain strong client relationships through regular customer visits and follow-ups. Ensure strict adherence to all company policies and procedures. Implement work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping for all assigned sites. Assign and deploy cleaning personnel to appropriate account sites as required. Perform quality audits, site inspections, follow-up on routine and special projects, and maintain consistent client interaction. Requisition, manage, and maintain all necessary equipment and supplies for assigned accounts. Travel extensively to various sites for inspections, supply delivery, employee meetings, and client visits. Provide daily operational reports to the Operations Manager. Address and resolve day-to-day operational issues at each account. Respond immediately and professionally to customer complaints. Assist Site Managers and Supervisors with operational or staffing challenges. Promote and enforce operational quality standards across all sites. Perform cleaning duties at site when operational needs require. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager. Training skills a must, for improving procedures by night/day cleaners will be a big part of the role. Experience stripping and waxing of VCT flooring an asset. Must have a valid FULL license, and good driving record. Passable computer literacy required. Must submit a Vulnerable Sector Check. Be available for flexible hours, potentially night or day shifts. Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle at all times. Schedule and maintain routine vehicle maintenance. Ensure the fuel card is used strictly for business purposes. Maintain an accurate mileage log.

Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in retail janitorial cleaning.
