Area Manager
to help us
launch our new office

working under the Operations Manager at the head office
for full support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Start-Up & Setup
Partner with the
Operations Manager at the head office
to assist with licensing, setup, and regional compliance
Help coordinate office logistics, forms, and service readiness in Dartmouth and surrounding areas

Business Development
Assist in
client outreach and contract development
for security services (construction, retail, events, static/mobile, video surveillance,
etc)
Build lasting relationships with businesses and stakeholders in the region
Attend relevant community or industry networking events

Operations Management (Post-Launch)
Recruit, onboard, and manage licensed security personnel as operations begin
Assist in writing or adapting
standard operating procedures (SOPs)
and post orders
Oversee basic site scheduling and reporting once clients and staff are active
Ensure regional operations align with company standards and provincial compliance

Leadership & Coordination
Serve as the
local lead
for Nova Scotia while maintaining regular contact with head office operations
Support a culture of professionalism, accountability, and high-quality service delivery
Provide weekly updates to the Operations Manager regarding goals, site performance, and team growth

Qualifications
Diploma in
Law & Security, Criminology, Police Studies
, or related field
3+ years of experience
in private security, including supervisory or management roles
Strong understanding of
Nova Scotia security legislation and licensing requirements
Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to head office leadership
Excellent communication skills and ability to write/revise procedures
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (some regional travel required)
Bilingual in English and French is required
