Architectural Technologist
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team to develop detailed architectural drawings and designs for residential.
Prepare construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure designs comply with Ontario Building Code and local regulations.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design adherence.
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Contribute innovative design ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect and SketchUp.
Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Experience in residential construction projects is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pembroke, ON
