We are seeking an ambitious and driven Architectural/Structural Technologist to join our Engineering Team and help us grow our expanding business. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with sales team regarding project details. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Architectural Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, and other company divisions regarding project status and drawings as required. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Engineering/Architectural Team regarding projects. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a professional and safe workplace environment. \xc2\xb7 Complete architectural presentations, structural foundation details and shop drawings. \xc2\xb7 Maintain organization of files both on the company server and within physical folders. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with shop drafting team and sales team regarding change orders. \xc2\xb7 Enforcing workplace policies, procedures, and CDN GROUP organizational standards to all drawings. \xc2\xb7 Reporting daily to Architectural and Engineering management and designers with updates to project completion and workload management \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with shop and fabrication team as required. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 1 to 3 years of drafting experience. \xc2\xb7 Mandatory working knowledge of Revit and 2D AutoCAD. \xc2\xb7 Experience with other Autodesk programs considered an asset. \xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of architectural drafting techniques and engineering terminology is required. \xc2\xb7 Experience and knowledge in steel connection design, truss systems, and reinforced concrete foundations. \xc2\xb7 Experience with low-rise steel-framed construction considered an asset. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel, required to compile letters and reports. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills (oral and written English).
