Job Summary

We are currently looking for reliable, physically fit individuals to join our team who want to further their training and skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools necessary for the fabrication and installation of metal components. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Requirements and Responsibilities

MUST have a valid drivers license and vehicle as we work at various jobsites across the Lower Mainland. Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and form metal sheets. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, on projects requiring multi-trade skills. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Lift heavy materials as needed during the fabrication and installation processes. Should be comfortable working at heights 10' and higher. Fall Protection training and safety equipment is required, and will be provided.

Experience

Proven experience in the construction industry or similar role is preferred. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required during installations or material handling.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
