POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to join our Commercial Sales Team. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in driving specifications and sales across commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills, and a passion for design and construction. You will collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and commercial contractors to position Unilock as the product of choice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets as defined by the Sales Manager
Build and maintain relationships with professionals in landscape architecture, architecture, and engineering
Manage a portfolio of commercial landscape contractors
Deliver compelling presentations to design professionals, developers, and business owners
Provide technical support and product recommendations to ensure accurate and appropriate product specifications
Collaborate with sales team members to secure product specifications and close sales
Track project progress in the Unilock CRM from initial design to final sale and installation
Stay current on industry knowledge by attending training, seminars, and industry events
Represent Unilock at local trade shows, conferences, and industry functions
Perform other duties as required to support the organization's success
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture (college or university level preferred)
Completion of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) courses: Principles of Construction Documentation and Certified Technical Sales Representative (CTR)(required post-hire)
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced presentation skills an asset
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Valid Ontario driver's license
