Adjust their designs to conform to limiting factors such as budget allocation and cost of materials Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects Project management Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons Prepare sketches and models Estimate costs Proposal preparation Tender and administer contracts Interior design (general) Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications
