We are seeking an experienced

Architectural Manager

to join the Union Station Development Project (USDP) team during the development phase of this high-profile transit infrastructure initiative. This role is ideal for a

Senior Project Coordinator

or

Assistant Project Manager (5-10 years)

with a strong background in

Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI)

construction.



As the Architectural Manager, you will lead architectural coordination efforts, ensuring seamless integration between design and construction disciplines. You will play a key role in managing subcontractors, supporting estimating and scheduling, and driving quality and constructability outcomes in a collaborative Alliance model environment.

This position is based on our Union Station Project in Toronto.

Responsibilities


--------------------


Lead architectural scope coordination across all project phases, with a focus on design-development and constructability. Perform quantity take-offs and support estimating by anticipating design requirements and making informed pricing assumptions. Coordinate multidisciplinary design interfaces (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical - ASME). Manage Divisions 4-14 subcontractors, including scope parsing, contract alignment, and performance oversight. Support schedule development by sequencing work, verifying durations, and understanding interdependencies between activities. Collaborate with design consultants, construction teams, and commercial subcontractors to resolve issues and optimize outcomes. Ensure quality and safety standards are embedded in design and construction planning. Translate design intent into field-executable solutions, bridging the gap between drawings and construction realities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:




Degree or Diploma in

Architectural Technology

,

Construction Management

, or

Engineering

(Mechanical or Electrical). 5-10 years of experience in ICI or institutional construction projects (e.g., transit, hospitals, schools, office towers, large retail). Proficiency in

Bluebeam

,

Autodesk Revit

(model navigation), and

Microsoft Excel

. Strong understanding of Construction MasterFormat and subcontractor scope division. Demonstrated experience in design coordination and construction interface management.
