RMS Glass is seeking a reliable, motivated and experienced tradesperson. The appropriate candidate will have a positive attitude, take ownership of their role, exceptional attention to detail, and previous experience in the construction industry(building, measuring, cutting, fastening, drilling, cleaning). Prior glazing experience with insulated glass, shower enclosures, and mirrors, is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Description of work:
-Interpret job details and specifications, ie. frame measurements, glass thickness, materials checklist
-Remove and install insulated glass units into existing aluminum frames in high-rise buildings
-Prepare for project; ensuring tools and equipment are ready to go
-Install standard/custom shower enclosures
-Fabricate Thermal Sash Inserts
-Retrofit TSI units into existing aluminum frame
-Minor window repairs such as screens, rollers, and locks
-Measure, cut, sand, and replace single lites of monolithic glass
-Measure, install and clean mirrors
-Shop housekeeping (sweeping, tidying, and discarding materials at the dump)

Requirements:

-Reliability - show up to work everyday
-Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs consistently to load/unload trucks
-G class license
-Working at heights certification (preferred)
-Work safely under OHSA regulations
-Represent RMS with exceptional customer service and expertise
-Adhere to proper PPE checklist
-Attention to detail is a must
-Experience with tools (measuring, cutting, drilling, fastening, cleaning)
-Complete jobs within the productivity standards provided
