We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Architectural Designer with their BCIN number to join our team as a freelance designer. We believe in power of design. We create beautiful designs and renders by focusing our attention on creating functional yet attractive spaces for our clients. We aim to empower our team to learn about the entire process. Minimum 1 year of Canadian professional working experience in architectural design is preferred. Exceptional skills in the production and coordination of residential projects are an asset. Fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in building their portfolio. Qualifications The ideal team member: Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Has superior organization skills, with the ability to multi-task Loves to learn, and has a creative and solution-oriented mindset Is driven and goal-oriented Has a positive attitude and energetic demeanor Takes initiative and is resourceful Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with AutoCAD \xe2\x80\x93 creating templates, sheetsets, blocks, drafting, best practices, etc. \xc2\xb7 Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite \xe2\x80\x93 Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite 3D modeling and Rendering \xe2\x80\x93 Sketchup, Rhino, Vray, Enscape considered an Asset Familiar with Ontario Building Code Job Duties Assist in conducting zoning review and due diligence for potential clients and projects Produce as-built floor plans and elevations using Autocad based on measurements taken from site Produce building permit packages \xe2\x80\x93 site plans, fire separation/exiting diagrams, floor plans, elevations, details, plumbing, and mechanical plans Assist in building code review, ensuring compliance prior to submitting to the city Must have own computer/laptop with Autocad, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator All applications must include the following: \xe2\x80\x93 Current resume, cover letter and portfolio Thank you to everyone who applies.
