Responsibilities

Building Code review of drawings, shop drawings, etc. Preparation of Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc. Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports. Attend meetings, presentations, occupancy demonstrations, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset). Experience using Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, Excel, Word, etc. Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code. Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing). Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset). Team oriented and able to work individually. Valid BC Driver's License.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V6C 1G8
