One (1) Architectural Advisor The Architectural Advisor is responsible for the delivery of architectural services associated with various sub-projects within the House of Commons (HoC) construction and renovation program; the provision of professional architectural advice for all phases of the project as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of professional experts to define project functional and design requirements to deliver projects that align with the Long-Term Vision and Plan for the Parliamentary Precinct. One (1) Architectural Advisor \xe2\x80\x93 Accessibility The Architectural Advisor- Accessibility will be responsible for delivering architectural expertise related to Universal Accessibility (UA). The House of Commons has created its Accessibility Action Plan in response to the Accessible Canada Act to improve the built environment for all persons. Bringing knowledge, skills and abilities as a specialist in accessibility to develop a standard guideline. In addition, your role will involve representing the HoC as a stakeholder in working groups led by PSPC that focus on projects to improve accessibility in the Parliamentary Precinct. Also, you will be a resource person for the Architecture and Interior Design Program of Real Property in accessibility. In this role, you will also assist with oversight of all projects that include upgrades for accessibility while reporting to stakeholders on the scope of work required to achieve our goals.
