THE COMPANY
Our client, a busy, growing and reputable Architecture and Design firm, is currently looking for an Architect to join their team in Calgary. This firm have a good reputation, a diverse portfolio of work and offer opportunity for professional growth. They have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing mixed use, hospitality, public, institutional, commercial and recreational work, both small and large.

THE ROLE
For this role you will be a registered architect and will be involved in the following:

• Design and refine projects under guidance of Principals
• Work closely with the senior design team, clients, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Project management through all phases of a project
• Prepare and coordinate designs for rezoning Submissions, and Site Plan Approvals.
• Prepare presentations for meetings with city staff, Urban Design Review Panel, and Public Consultation Meetings.
• Attend consultation meetings to gain understanding of client and community requirements.
• Prepare design drawings for client review, including floor plans, elevation and section drawings, 3D massing studies, shadow studies, calculation of project statistics.
• Design and revise suite layouts
• Some contract administration

WHAT\'S REQUIRED

• Registered Architect with AAA preferred
• Masters of Architecture
• 7 to 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience across a range of project types
• PMP designation preferred
• High level of skill with Revit
• Experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a definite asset.
• Solid organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Applies proper QA/QC methods throughout project.

You will be involved in working with all aspects of projects from design and client liaison through to final stages of project execution.
