Our portfolio of Industrial IoT solutions is growing, and we need an experienced technical leader to help define and deliver our Industrial IoT Software Appliance. As our teams focus on building the core applications, APIs and data model, we need an experienced Architect to focus on defining a robust appliance platform to host our solutions. Our Linux appliance starts with industry leading cybersecurity best practices and must provide a truly \xe2\x80\x9cblack-box\xe2\x80\x9d experience. Defining and delivering an appliance with such a diverse set of requirements requires a proven problem-solving mindset.

Joining as an Architect will give you the opportunity to leverage your experience while learning and participating in the rapidly emerging Industry 4.0.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Demonstrate your ability to quickly learn our customer\xe2\x80\x99s domain and your proven problem-solving abilities.

Collaborate within a high functioning organization with a diverse set of skills, enabling the teams to identify and effectively make architecturally significant decisions via both code and design reviews.

Refine our evolving architectural roadmap to support both short- and long-term goals.

Continually evaluate the solution architecture and effectiveness of the current implementation, identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Partner with Product Owners to add well-crafted stories into the backlog that will drive the implementation of the architectural roadmap as we deliver functionality.

Coach and mentor team members, helping them establish the core skills to make effective technical decisions. Enable breaking complex problems into achievable iterative steps that resonate with our customers.

Tackle a diverse range of problems hands-on including initial research and implementation code as required.

Work in partnership with Product Managers and engage directly with customers to establish the business value of our architecture and our roadmap while collecting customer feedback.

Engage and collaborate with peers across the globe to help improve and champion our agile, scrum, QA, and DevOps practices.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or better in Computing Science, Software or Electrical engineering, or equivalent.

Proven (8 years or more) management or leadership experience with an increasing responsibility for delivering products.

Extensive (10 years or more) hands-on experience developing software related products.

Extensive experience with Linux based hardware and virtual appliances.

Proven ability to collaborate with other technical leaders.

A passion for continuous learning and proven record to deliver.

Excellent ability to effectively communicate at the team, individual, customer and leadership level.
