Adecco is currently seeking an Architect - Construction in the dynamic field of construction and architecture. As an integral part of our on-site project engineering team, you\'ll oversee and coordinate construction tasks, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution. Bring your expertise to the table, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver complex projects.

Detailed :

Perform full-time, on-site construction-related project engineering or architecture tasks.

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks and projects.

Communicate effectively with internal and external construction team members.

Interpret project documents to determine requirements and necessary paths of action.

Perform quality control/quality assurance in areas related to construction and design.

Submit reports on project execution status.

Monitor and report on compliance in all aspects of the project.

Represent technical topics to the project team.

Review engineering or architectural deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure deliverable deadlines, quality, and cost targets.

Manage external service providers.

Candidate\'s Profile:

Eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

International mindset with an interest in global work and diverse teams.

Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution (ABET or Engineers Canada) in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field of study.

P.Eng., P.E., or other equivalent professional license is preferred but not required.

Minimum of 8 years of experience working in the construction industry at a similar capacity.

Experience working on large projects with complex project teams.

Responsibility for architectural aspects of a construction project.

Experience working on Design-Build projects.

Actively participated in construction meetings.

Broad knowledge of architectural design and details related to industrial facilities.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

Understanding of the nuances of the design and construction process.

Ability to work safely on an active construction site in accordance with the Health & Safety Plan.

Strong problem-solving skills using logical approaches and analytical thinking.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, architects, and construction managers.

High degree of team orientation and social competence.

Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring project components meet the overall goal.

Proficient in construction scheduling, workflows, and quality control/quality assurance.
