Job Summary

The Wildwood team is looking for Arborists & Arborist Apprentices to help with operations in summer 2026. Terms surrounding employment can be negotiated - Minimum 4 months (May-September) up to Full-time permanent opportunities. We are looking for individuals with experience in the arboriculture industry, but anyone with experience working outdoors and is willing to learn is encouraged to apply. Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift trucks, chippers, chainsaws, and/or other hydraulic equipment is considering an asset. Individuals with experience and knowledge of tree climbing for pruning and removal is also considered an asset.

Duties

Perform daily walk-arounds and maintenance to Wildwood equipment & prepare trucks with tools required for the day Consult with customers prior to and after jobs to ensure customer satisfaction Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using safe techniques and best-practices. Operate bucket trucks and other machinery safely for tree care operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Provide clients with recommendations for tree care and maintenance plans. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services rendered.

Experience

Proven experience as an Arborist or in a related field is preferred. Proficiency in operating bucket trucks & chippers, as well as proficiency in Tree Climbing preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety is essential. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.

Pay: $17.50-$27.50 per hour
