AR/AP SPECIALIST

You'll be at the forefront of our financial operations, engaging in transaction processing, financial reporting, and systems implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cash Flow ManagementPerform daily/weekly cash flow projections and complex account reconciliations.

Transaction ProcessingEnter and issue invoices, and update accounts receivable and payable.

Journal EntriesBook standards, accrual, and adjusting entries to ensure accurate financial recording.

Month-end/Year-end CloseAssist in the closing process, tracking progress, and resolving complex accounting issues.

Auditor CollaborationCoordinate with external auditors, providing walkthroughs, supporting schedules, and addressing inquiries.

Cross-functional CollaborationEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with finance/accounting teams globally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience - Up to five years in financial accounting, A/R, and A/P.Expertise - Good understanding of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.Tech Savvy - Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel.Communication - Excellent oral and written communication skills.Detail-oriented - Attention to detail and accuracy are your strengths.Adaptability - Experience in rapidly growing companies is an asset.Team Player - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
