Provides training for leadership trainers, LSS - Lifesaving Society (Instructor Trainer)
Responsibilities
Plans, implements and conducts safe aquatic leadership program and lifeguard program instruction.
Ensures compliance with Ontario Health Regulations and all relevant legislation and Policy and Procedures manuals.
Ensures that appropriate equipment is in place and operational and that the equipment is stored away after use.
Evaluates pass/fail of other trainers.
Interactions with internal staff and external customers while performing duties.
Evaluates performance and maintains records of performance and attendance.
Communicates participants' performance and progress to participant.
Perform tasks necessary to support the program including reports and records.
Responds to aquatic emergency situations and uses safety/rescue equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard
Lifesaving Society Swim instructors
Lifesaving Society Instructors
Is a Lifesaving Society appointed National trainer
Provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check at your own expense as a condition of employment.
Valid CPR Level "C" and Standard First Aid Certificate.
Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
