Requirements:
Masters degree in education required; PhD degree in education will be given preference. At least one of the following: 1) recentexperience in teaching full-time in a school or working in the administration of a school board including two years of experience inimplementing the Ontario curriculum in the Primary and Junior Divisions with specialist qualification related to the learning theoriespractices, or 2) current peer-review research file related to the learning theories practices, or 3) recent PhD comprehensive examinationsrelated to the learning theories practices. Demonstrated knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum relating to the learning theoriespractices and of the documents of the Ontario Ministry of Education relating to the learning theories practices. Proven capacity to applythe Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice of the Ontario College of Teachers. The University may consider experience orqualifications equivalent to those set out above.
