Course Description: Introduction aux principes de l'utilisation de la technologie pour les etudes universitaires. Ce cours explore divers sujets lies a l'evaluation de l'information, des medias et de la technologie ; il vise a developper une comprehension des medias numeriques dans des contextes multiples ; il examine le role des medias numeriques dans la formation des croyances et des pratiques dans la societe. Developpement des competences techniques, y compris les operations informatiques, la gestion des fichiers, les feuilles de calcul et les strategies de recherche.

Requirements:
Recherches doctorales et les publications temoignent d'une expertise de recherches en Communication, Histoire ou autre disciplines des arts avec specialisation en cultures numeriques/sciences humaines numeriques. Ce cours necessite une expertise en litteratie numerique, avec une connaissance des enjeux, debats et tendances actuels lies a la litteratie informationnelle et mediatique, a la litteratie des donnees et a la litteratie algorithmique. Cela inclut une experience dans l'utilisation des outils et de methodes numeriques pour chercher, evaluer et communiquer des informations (base de donnees, outils de gestion des citations, outils de verification des faits), preparer et gerer des ensembles de donnees pour l'analyse (feuilles de calcul, OpenRefine, Git et GitHub), et entreprendre diverses formes d'analyse et de visualisation de donnees (Nvivo, Timeline JS, ArcGIS, ESRI Maps, HTML, TEI.xml, Voyant Tools) necessaire pour evaluer de maniere critique les systemes algorithmiques. Une experiences dans l'enseignement de ces outils et dans la gestion de recherche numerique collaboratifs est requise.
