Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Apprentice or Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read schematics for effective assembly and repair tasks. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repair tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct assembly of vehicle components as needed. Provide customer service by communicating effectively with the service advisor about the vehicles needs and repair processes. Assist in heavy lifting as required during the repair process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies regarding safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Previous shop experience is preferred but not mandatory. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience in automotive repair. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks.
