Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, plasma cutting equipment, and cranes. The Welder will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities



Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications. Operate welding equipment and machinery, including plasma cutters and hand tools, to perform welding tasks. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards. Utilize forklifts and cranes for the movement of materials within the workspace. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment as needed.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Experience with various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Familiarity with plasma cutting, machining processes, and ductwork fabrication is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely (certification may be required). Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.26-$35.00 per hour
