Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a good background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials, ensuring quality standards. Read and interpret schematics, and drawings to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press machines and aluminum saw. Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function. Operate forklifts safely for material handling and transportation within the facility. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment is essential. Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and understanding of mechanical principles is required. Experience operating forklifts, and other heavy machinery is advantageous. A strong understanding of machining processes will be beneficial for this role.
