Job Description
Universal Ventilation Ltd. is a progressive heating, ventilation, & air conditioning contractor located in Calgary with over 20 years serving customers' needs. We emphasize new construction, installations, HVAC design and service. We are looking for Refrigeration Mechanics (2nd year to Journeyperson preferred). DUTIES:
Assemble, install, service & repair air conditioning, refrigeration & heating units for residential / commercial / industrial Read building plans to determine job scope Diagnose equipment breakdowns / testing with appropriate instruments / disassemble & assemble parts / performing necessary repairs Preventative maintenance contracts & installations Safety All other duties related to job scope of Apprentice to Journeyperson
REQUIRED:
Must have personal smart phone Must have valid Class 5 drivers license to drive company vehicles Must have commercial refrigeration experience Valid B class Gas Ticket considered an asset Must be able to climb ladders Must be able to read and write English Must have good customer communication skills Must be able to work efficiently self-supervised and within a team setting Must possess team spirit, and be able to work closely with maintenance, production and engineering Must be willing to work with Management to promote and utilize safe work practices
