Marino\'s Automotive Group is looking for an Apprentice Service Technician in Etobicoke!

As a key member of our service team, the Apprentice Service Technician helps support the service experience. Our Apprentices are responsible for working closely with the rest of the service team to learn and execute on activities as assigned by the Shop Foreman or other Service Technicians. Apprentices should be motivated to learn and be open to feedback.

Job Duties:

\xc2\xb7 Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.

\xc2\xb7 Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.

\xc2\xb7 Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

\xc2\xb7 Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.

\xc2\xb7 Perform road test and safety inspections.

Successful Candidates Possess:

\xc2\xb7 Holds an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Agreement with the College of Trades

\xc2\xb7 In their 2nd or 3rd year of apprenticeship

\xc2\xb7 Valid Driver\'s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.

\xc2\xb7 Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

\xc2\xb7 Strong Aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
