We are now accepting applications for Journeyperson(s) and 1st-3rd year apprentices to work in high density residential as well as commercial settings. We want game changers. At VPH. we're seeking a skilled plumbers to join our team. In this role, you'll handle essential plumbing installations, conduct repairs, and ensure all plumbing systems operate smoothly. We're looking for someone with exceptional plumbing skills, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to helping our customers. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures. Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction. Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required. Prepare client bids, budgets, and cost estimates. Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used. Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations. Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Education and Requirements

Provincial plumbing license 1-3 years' experience as a journeyman plumber must have reliable transportation to the job sites Must have own basic hand tools

Qualifications and Skills

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage. Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges accordingly. Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper. Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
