Apprentice Plumber/plumber
Job Description
Looking to hire a plumbing apprentice , licensed plumber or labourer. Pay depending on experience. Some carpentry work may be involved.
Duties:
- Assist in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and bending pipes using hand and power tools
- Help in installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs
- Assist in testing plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gaugesRequirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced plumbersNote: This is an entry-level position as an apprentice plumber. Training will be provided on the jobJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$32.00 per hourExpected hours: 36 - 48 per weekBenefits:
