Apprentice Plumber/plumber
Job Description
Looking to hire a plumbing apprentice , licensed plumber or labourer. Pay depending on experience. Some carpentry work may be involved.
Duties:
- Assist in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and bending pipes using hand and power tools
- Help in installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs
- Assist in testing plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced plumbers Note: This is an entry-level position as an apprentice plumber. Training will be provided on the job Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 \xe2\x80\x93 48 per week Benefits:
- Paid time off
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
