Roto-Rooter, a trusted leader in plumbing, drain cleaning, and underground services, is seeking a motivated and hardworking

Plumbing Apprentice

to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside licensed plumbers, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist licensed plumbers with

installation, repair, and maintenance

of plumbing systems, fixtures, and water supply/drainage lines. Perform

drain cleaning services

using specialized equipment (augers, hydro-jetters, cameras, etc.). Support senior technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing and drainage issues. Complete

on-call service rotations

for emergency plumbing and drain calls (evenings, weekends, as scheduled). Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials for daily jobs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites and company vehicles. Follow safety policies, plumbing codes, and supervisor instructions at all times. Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the company positively on every call.

Qualifications:

Previous plumbing, drain cleaning, or construction experience is an asset, but

we're willing to train the right candidate

. Mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and comfortable working with plumbing and drain equipment. Must be

physically fit

and able to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces. Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call schedule. Valid

Class 5 driver's licence

(or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning. Safety certifications such as

First Aid and WHMIS

are considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $24.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
