We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the trade and develop essential plumbing skills. This position offers hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn and a passion for the plumbing industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for plumbing projects.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks.
Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting plumbing issues.
Participate in welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings.
Help assemble and build plumbing systems according to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
Skills
Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Ability to assemble and build components as directed by supervisors.
Knowledge of carpentry principles can be beneficial.
Competence in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
Willingness to learn how to plumb, weld, and perform other related tasks under supervision.
