We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This 2nd- 4th year position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. New multi family construction

Duties

Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in the assembly and installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Support maintenance activities by troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing repairs. Gain knowledge in carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices relevant to plumbing work. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in plumbing. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage. Understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred but not required. Experience or coursework in carpentry, HVAC, or construction is a plus. Willingness to learn welding techniques as part of plumbing installations. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
