Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipefitting, welding, and construction, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and fire sprinkler fitting. The Pipefitter will be responsible for ensuring that all piping systems are installed correctly and meet industry standards.

Responsibilities



Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for various applications including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems. Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding to join pipes and fittings. Perform pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly tasks as required. Conduct maintenance on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other equipment safely and effectively. Adhere to ASME codes & standards during installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety protocols. Engage in rigging activities when necessary for the movement of heavy materials.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in construction or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting tasks. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
