Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in the industry.

Experienced compagnon electricians are also of interest.

Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Work with 120 - 600 volts equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics related to electrical work. Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from experienced professionals. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
