Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in both residential and industrial settings.

Duties

Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to specifications and local codes. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to low voltage systems and industrial electrical work. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Experience

Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical concepts is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus. A strong willingness to learn about industrial electrical systems, low voltage applications, and building practices is essential. Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
