Responsibilities

Assist experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Participate in the installation of low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Help troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic repairs as directed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus. Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction. Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently when required. Previous experience or coursework related to industrial electricity is beneficial but not mandatory.
