Apprentice Electrician
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Assist with frame carpentry and building structures to support electrical components
- Assist in the installation of wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of a licensed electrician
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Note: High voltage experience is a plus but not required for this apprentice position.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
