Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with strong experience in both custom residential and commercial service environments. We are a small company specializing in high-end custom homes working with expensive and delicate fixtures, architectural lighting and LED lighting.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Work on low voltage lighting as well as home lighting automation controllers. Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in residential settings or construction projects. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation related to electrical work. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols associated with electrical installations. Knowledge of low voltage lighting and home automation is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Maintenance Person experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Must possess a valid electrician's license and reliable vehicle Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
