We are currently seeking to hire an apprentice who is already enrolled with Skilled Trades Ontario. Preference will be given to candidates who meet this requirement.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented electrical apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The apprentice will assist in various electrical tasks, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in both residential and commercial settings.

We service London and surrounding areas. May require out of town work with hotel and per diem coverage by the company.

Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Follow safety protocols and adhere to local electrical codes throughout all tasks.

Experience

Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in the electrical trade is preferred. Basic understanding of electrical principle is a plus. Experience reading schematics and blueprints will be beneficial for success in this role. A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the electrical field is essential.
